Richard and I had a Social Studies class together in 8th grade at South Intermediate. He brought his typewriter in every day. He and I left class a few minutes early so he could get to his next class before the halls filled up. We chatted a little in class and a little while moving to the next class. Within the last month I wondered what had become of him. I am saddened to hear of his passing, but glad to read that he had a happy life.

Deepest condolences to the Wade family. Had the pleasure to know Richie many many years ago in the Boy Scouts when his father was our Boy Scout leader. Many fun activities and lots of fun camp outs. And although Richie was blind he was very proficient in many of our activities and many times outperformed the rest of us even though we could see LOL. May the angels greet you into paradise old friend and God bless your soul sincerely Richard Hagerty

I have so many great childhood memories of the time I spent with Rich as a kid. He was like a brother to me back then. I will never forget when Dave busted Rich for cheating at cards, Rich always seem to beat me until Dave said, You know that he cheats, He is reading the brail when he deals you the cards". Rest in peace "cuz"!
