Beloved wife, sister and aunt passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her home. Age 67 years. The daughter of the late Joseph and Betty (Corbett) Trogan, Yvonne was born on April 8, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Russell Snyder on April 17, 1993. He survives her. Yvonne was a Legal Secretary for her father’s law firm for more than 25 years. Yvonne was a parishioner of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and for many years volunteered her time for funeral luncheons. She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, traveling and going to the Upper Peninsula. Yvonne was most happy to be anywhere around water, especially at their cottage on the lake.
Surviving besides her husband Russell are three sisters and one brother; Ann Marie Fitch, Elaine (David) Vlassis, Joseph Trogan, Jr., Barbara Tomcal; many nieces and nephews. Yvonne was preceded in death by her nephew, Stephen Vlassis.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 12:00 Noon on Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. Dominic Parish – SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave. Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate with interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Dominic Parish or Salvation Army.
