Obituary

Thomas Andrew Loizos
Saginaw, Michigan

Thomas Andrew Loizos went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2021. He was born on March 14, 1956 to Marilyn Loizos and the late Robert J. Loizos. Tom was an avid golfer, accomplished guitar player and a friend to many. He attended Beacon of Hope Church in Saginaw. As a Praise Team Musician, Tom used his time and talents to honor the Lord. He enjoyed sharing stories about life and living and was always willing to help someone in need. Tom was quiet and humble, but always displayed a big heart and a warm smile. He lived, loved and cared deeply about everyone. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Tom is survived by his mother, Marilyn Loizos, his siblings, Robert M. Loizos, Elizabeth McCauley and John (Ginny) Loizos; two nephews, Jeremy Loizos and Brandon McCauley. Tom was preceded in death by his father Robert J. Loizos in 2019. We will all miss Tom greatly and will always remember him with love and fond memories. We look forward to our reunion with him in Heaven.

Honoring Tom’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service honoring his life will be announced at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Beacon on Hope Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.

Tom was seriously an asset at Beacon of Hope and we miss him every week! He always went out of his way to talk to me, and everyone else for that matter. He had a kind heart and was truly a friend. I will miss talking to him before church every week and hearing him shred that guitar. Those guitar skills encourage me to play better myself. We know we will see you again Tom but you will never be replaced! Until we meet again my friend! My prayers are with Bob and the rest of his family!

So sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Tom, he was a regular at the Salvation Army along with his right hand man( his brother) , the two where like two peas in a pot, always together, my heart hurts for Robert, it was always a joy to see the both of them, they were funny and comical, I will miss seeing both of them come in the store together. I am terribly saddened to hear of Tom‘s home going. He was a very soul, and so easy to visit with. Tom smile is so contagious and easy-going. I am so glad to hear of his love of the Lord and his service for him, encouraging many. It’s so comforting to know he has a new residence and is awaiting our arrival. He will never be forgotten, but missed terribly. Tom thank you for your sweet life, till we meet again.R.I.P.
