Obituary for Thomas A. Krawczak

Thomas A. Krawczak,
Beaverton, Michigan,
Formerly of St. Charles, Michigan.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away Friday, October 28, 2022. Age 84 years. Son of the late Frank and Mary (Gabor) Krawczak, Thomas was born March 26, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. Tom attended St. Josaphat’s Grade School and was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. At the age of 11 years he beat Bulbar Polio. He married the love of his life, Lillian M. Goldynia, on May 11, 1968. She survives him. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gladwin. Tom was employed as a meat cutter at Vescio’s and Paul Bunyan Ham and was a co-owner of Michigan Brand Co. and Swan Valley Freezer Beef. He was also the Mayor in St. Charles. Tom enjoyed hunting and especially spending time with his family.

Surviving besides his wife Lillian are two sons, Mark Krawczak, Saginaw; Matthew and Rea Krawczak, Baldwin; five grandchildren, Sara, Allison, Jacob, Jared and Jaden; one sister, Irene and Steve Krabill, Saginaw; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by one sister, Joan Fleming and two brothers, David and Ken Krawczak.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 330 N. Silverleaf, Gladwin, Michigan. Tom’s cousin, Rev. Fr. Richard Jozwiak will officiate. A private burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery in St. Charles, Michigan. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
