Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Stonecrest Assisted Living in Freeland. Age 94 years. The daughter of the late Fred and Mildred Timm, Therese was born on April 22, 1929 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Bernard Lienczewski on May 30, 1949 at St. Casimir Catholic Church. He predeceased her on September 26, 1998. Therese was a member of the League of Catholic Women and Blue Army of Fatima.
Surviving are one son, Joe Lienczewski, Hemlock; her daughter-in-law, Susan Lienczewski; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole (Rob), Joshua; her great-grandchildren, Aurora and Darian Lienczewski and Robert and Anna Fresorger; her siblings, Janet Hunt, Mary Margaret Duby, Joan Bobier and Ruth Kennedy; many nieces and nephews. Therese was preceded in death by her son, John Lienczewski; her siblings, Leona, Marjorie, Kathy, Ann and Frank.
Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 Noon on Friday, April 28, 2023 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. Alberto Vargas will officiate with interment to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
