Beloved father, grandfather, son and brother passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at his home with his family at his side. Age 62 years. Son of Janet (Dammann) Louchart and the late Lawrence E. Louchart, Steven was born August 30, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan. Steven enjoyed music and especially spending time with his family.
Surviving are two daughters and two sons, James (Cynthia) Louchart, Laura (Jason) Jimenez, Jason (Maria) Louchart, Melissa Louchart; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his mother, Janet Louchart; his sister, Shar (Kevin) Krchmar; his aunts especially Shirley Wood, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Honoring Steven’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Public Visitation will take place Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). A private Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Pastor J.D. Howell will officiate. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitations of number gathered, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Care Team Hospice.
