Steven Edward “Trucker Steve” Kuehne

Freeland, Michigan.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and son passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Age 54 years. Son of Donna (Gaunt) Kuehne and the late Edward Kuehne, Steven was born December 27, 1966 in Ferndale, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Tracy A. Lake on June 15, 2013. She survives him. He was an owner and operator of Steve E. Kuehne Enterprises as a household mover for over 30 years. Steven was a member of the University of Michigan Marching Band Family hauling their band equipment for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley’s, building, watching Michigan Football, spending time with his family and especially with his granddaughter.

Surviving besides his wife Tracy are one daughter and one son, Tosha and Jake Smith, Canton, Georgia; Steven E . ”Buddy” Kuehne Jr. and his girlfriend, Nikki Schmidt, Alma; step-daughter, Tabitha Heinz, Saginaw; his granddaughter, Mollie Smith, Canton Georgia; his mother, Donna Kuehne, Freeland; two sisters, Diane Kuehne, Freeland; Christy and Marty Moon, Hemlock; two nephews, Tyler and Hunter Moon; and several cousins especially, Jodi Durkin.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Bay Valley Christian Church, 2535 E. Wilder Rd., Bay City Michigan. Pastor Patty Mudd will officiate. Burial will take place in Laporte Cemetery, Freeland, Michigan with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #439. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (please wear Harley or Michigan apparel) and at Bay Valley Christian Church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
