Obituary for Sally Majewski

Sally Jo Majewski

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at her home. Age 74 years. The daughter of the late John and Isabel (Konefko) Kelley, Sally was born November 27, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Robert S. Majewski on April 16, 1966. He predeceased her April 10, 2013. Sally was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish. She was employed as a secretary at WJRT TV-12 for over 35 years until her retirement. Sally was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, going to the casino and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are one son and two daughters, Scott and Robin Majewski, Catherine and John Banda, Melissa Majewski, all of Saginaw; seven grandchildren, Justin, Brittanye, Cyrena (Justin), Stephan, Jonathan, Nevaeh and Keaton; four great-grandchildren, Eli, Annabella, Baylee and Haisley; a sister, Patricia Gallery, Saginaw; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia Przybylski, Saginaw; Linda and Dennis Burke, Hemlock; several nieces and nephews. Sally was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers-in-law, Sharon and Terry Murphy, Jim Gallery and Gerald Przybylski.

Honoring Mrs. Majewski’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 3945 Williamson Road in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. John Mancini, OSFS, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at St. Francis de Sales Parish where the family will be present on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Autism Society of Michigan.
