Sally Ann Loiacano,
Saginaw, Michigan.
Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 90 years. Daughter of the late Lester and Emma (Rody) Meehleder, Sally was born September 15, 1932 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to James V. Loiacano, her loving husband of 58 years, on June 25, 1955. He predeceased her December 29, 2013. Sally was an avid Red Wings Fan and Detroit Tiger Fan, enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, gardening and especially spending time with her family.
Surviving to cherish her memory are one son and two daughters, Jim and Linda Loiacano, Marianne Dalton, Sue and Chris Lacy, all of Saginaw; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her brother Larry Meehleder, Bay City; several nieces and nephews. Sally was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Meehleder.
Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). A private entombment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Make-a-Wish Foundation or charity of your choice.
