Loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 70 years. Daughter of the late Carl and Muriel (Evans) Kay, Sally was born March 14, 1950 in Bay City, Michigan. She was married to Joseph O’Polka on August 20, 1981. He predeceased her June 8, 2016. Sally was a member of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed bowling, swimming, the casino, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons and one daughter, Carl (Amy) Burton, Jason (Moira) O’Polka and Kelly O’Polka; three grandchildren, Brendan Burton, Mary O’Polka and Eleanor O’Polka; two brothers, Gordon Kay and Dennis and Linda Kay; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sally was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Kay.
Honoring Mrs. O’Polka’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
