Beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Age 68 years. The daughter of the late Edward Richard Sr. and Elizabeth (Phillips) Richard, Rosemary was born January 12, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan. Rosemary graduated from Freeland High School in 1971. She was previously married to John Bartnik and Chris Van Pelt. Rosemary was the previous owner of the State Street Subway and was later employed at Holt Transport. She enjoyed trips up north and traveling. Art was her favorite hobby. Rosemary loved life and spending time with her children and grandchildren.


Surviving are two sons, Jeff Bartnik and Jeremy Van Pelt; grandchildren, Izabel and Junior; two brothers and one sister, Jim and Peggy Richard, Edward Richard Jr. and Karen, Christine and Richard Miska; special friend, Dan Tetzlaff; many nieces, nephews and special friends, including Connie Crowel.


Honoring Rosemary’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
