Ronald J. Wysopal,

Cadillac, Michigan.

Beloved father and grandfather passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Curry House, Cadillac, Michigan. Age 81 years. Son of the late Walter and Mary (Kopanek) Wysopal, Ronald was born September 14, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill Trade School. Ron served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1962 and was a member of the American Legion. He married Ernestine Sievert on June 2, 1962. She predeceased him January 6, 2011. Ron was employed at General Motors for 30 years until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Cadillac, Michigan. Ron enjoyed collecting and working on cars as well as participating in car shows with his Corvette. He served on the Welcome Club in Cadillac and the We Support Group. Ron especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish his memory are one daughter, one son and their spouses, Terri and Martin Betz, Alto, Michigan; Walter and Jennifer Wysopal, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Alexander and Aric Betz, Kaitlyn and Morgan Wysopal; a sister-in-law, Donna Wysopal; several nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sheri Marie Wysopal and two brothers, Frederick Wysopal and Walter H. Wysopal Jr.

Funeral Service will take place 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Scott Torkko will officiate. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Military Services conducted by V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitations of number gathered, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Zion Lutheran Church, Cadillac Michigan.
