Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at his home. Age 67 years. The son of the late Duane and Virginia (Parker) Bushey, Bob was born on April 24, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1971 graduate of Douglas MacArthur High School. He married Cheryl L. Spear on July 11, 1992. She survives him. Bob worked many years in the family business, Bushey Radiator and Auto Glass, until his retirement in 2007. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and spending summers on Torch Lake. He enjoyed golfing, riding around on his golf cart, being with his canine companions, Hunter and Boots and especially spending time with his family. Bob was a former member of the Germania Club, Eagles Club and Fordney Club.
Surviving besides his wife Cheryl are one daughter, Danielle (Jake) Miller, Saginaw; his step-children, Brandon Spear, Saginaw and Amy Spear, Saginaw; his grandchildren, Kylie and Arielle Spear, Guinevere and George Miller and August Bauer; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Craig (Jill) Everett, Saginaw; Steve (Tina) Everett, Sugar Springs, Michigan; many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Ricki Bushey; his brother-in-law, Tim Everett.
Visitation will take place at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Private burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or wishes of the family.
