Loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Thursday, May 19, 2022 in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 91 years. Son of the late Robert and Mildred (Denner) Anderson, Robert “Bob” was born August 17, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army. Robert married Clarice Ann Alcock, his loving wife of 57 years, on March 7, 1955. She predeceased him April 11, 2012. Bob was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear for 38 years. He enjoyed being the life of every party and was loved by many.
Surviving to cherish his memory are two sons and two daughters, Craig and Rachel Anderson, Gaylord; Kari and Jim VonBerg, Saginaw; Lisa and Todd Bitzel, Canal Winchester, Ohio; Robert and Larissa Anderson, Flushing; nine grandchildren; Lindsay (Ben) Peters, Tanya Anderson, James (Michele) VonBerg II, Brett VonBerg, Richelle VonBerg, Bradley Brainard, Austin Shepp, Connor Shepp and Layton Anderson; and two great-grandsons, Zachary Peters and Jax VonBerg. Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Reiman.
Honoring Mr. Anderson’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Apple Mountain, 4519 N.
