Beloved father and brother passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022. Age 64 years. Son of the late Robert and Patsy Lou (Wolinski) Ackerman Sr., Robert was born March 14, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was an automotive painter for many years for various companies. Robert enjoyed horse racing, the Detroit Sports Teams and attending concerts.
Surviving to cherish his memory are two sons, Corey Ackerman, Saginaw; Kyle Ackerman, Saginaw; his sister, Debra Ackerman and her fiancé, Greg Princinsky, Saginaw; his brother, Marty Ackerman and Krista, Saginaw; his aunt, Lee Ann Talkington, Saginaw; several nieces, nephews and special friends. Robert was preceded in death by his step-mother, Beverly Ackerman.
Honoring Mr. Ackerman’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Rogel Cancer Center Fund at the University of Michigan.
