Robert Carl Beutel
Loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother entered heaven peacefully on Thursday May 11, 2023 in Bradenton, Florida. Age 90 years old where he just celebrated his birthday with family. The son of the late Carl and Claire (Schaeding) Beutel, Robert was born on April 6, 1933 in Saginaw, Michigan later moving to Bradenton, Florida. He proudly served in the United States Naval Reserve. Robert was of Lutheran faith. He was previously past president of his home association in Bradenton, Florida. He enjoyed landscaping, wildlife, playing cards (especially Canasta with family), ears (family joke) and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving to cherish his memories is his devoted wife, Sharon (Richter Rux) Beutel of 32 years, two daughters and one son, Barbara Fritz, Bay City, Michigan, Beverly (Patrick) Kelley, Lupton, Michigan, and Robert (Cheryl) Beutel, Rochester, Michigan; two-stepsons, Clinton (Mary) Rux, Howell, Michigan, Clark (Lori) Rux, Saginaw, Michigan; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl (Linda) Beutel, Tom (Penny) Beutel; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Beutel, his sister, Judith Mleczek, and his children’s mother, Joan Fischer Beutel Berry.
He will be greatly missed but as Dad always said, “Go with the flow.”
Honoring Mr. Beutel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his life will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Tidewell Hospice.
