Raul E. Ramirez, Jr., “Jr.” passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at his home. Jr was born in Saginaw, Michigan and was 54 years old when he passed away. He graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1985 and thereafter he worked in welding and construction. He was a member of St. Joseph Church; he enjoyed reading his bible and drinking coffee with his beloved mother. Jr enjoyed being with family and friends as well as watching wrestling, football, basketball, and playing dominos. Jr. is preceded in death by his father, Raul E. Ramirez, Sr.; his uncles, Joe and Arnold Ramirez; his cousins, Roland and MaryAnn Ramirez and Yolanda Salazar; two nieces, Leticia Vela and Amiya Perez; and sister-in-law, Mary Eldridge. He is survived by his mother, Juanita Ramirez; brothers, Danny Ramirez (Annabelle Villareal), Michael Ramirez; Steven (Lisa) Ramirez, and Roy Ramirez; sisters, Rose Ramirez, Dolores Ramirez (Joe Ortiz, Jr.); and his son, Antonio E. Ramirez-Jimenez; special niece and “the love of his life”, Nina Ortiz; and many many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 N. Sixth Ave. Saginaw, MI 48601. Celebrating will be Rev. Fr. Frank Voris. Visitation will take place at church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Inurnment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the “Wishes of the Family”, in care of Dolores R. Ramirez.
