Beloved mother, step-grandmother passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Ascension St. Mary’s Medical Center. Age 77 years. The daughter of the late George and Alice (Duffy) Gase, Pam was born on December 9, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan. Pam earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State College. She began her teaching career at Ashley Community Schools and retired after 30+ years of service. Family was her main priority in her life, teaching was her second. She enjoyed reading and was hardcore Trivial Pursuit player.
Surviving are one daughter, Alison (Gary) Carrigan; Bay City; two step-grandchildren, Deven and Draven Winters; four sisters, Marcia, Alison, Gretchen and Patricia; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Honoring Pam’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastoral Associate Tori Little will officiate. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
