Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Shields Comfort Care. Age 87 years. Daughter of the late Thofiel and Beatrice (Butler) DeMaet, Nancy was born January 18, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Lee Kenneth Roberts, her loving husband of 63 years, on July 11, 1953. He predeceased her September 24, 2016. Nancy was a bank teller for many years and also a dealer at The Antique Warehouse. She was a member of Merrill Wesleyan Church. Nancy enjoyed playing cards, ice skating, camping, fishing and especially spending time with her family.
Surviving to cherish her memory are one daughter, Janice and Dennis Dudewicz, Saginaw; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Roberts, Saginaw; two granddaughters, Jennette and Coty Lewis, Saginaw, Emily Roberts and her boyfriend, Robert Sanders, Saginaw; three great-granddaughters, Addilyn, Kamryn and Maeleigh; a sister-in-law; two nieces and a nephew, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Lee Roberts and her brother, Fred DeMaet.
Honoring Mrs. Roberts wishes cremation has taken place. A private Memorial Service will take place at Merrill Wesleyan Church with burial in the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
