Beloved mother passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Samaritas Senior Living. Age 99 years. The daughter of the late Albert and Elsie (Kebschall) Niemann, Mildred was born on February 22, 1921 in Bay City, Michigan. She was formerly married to the late Vigil Leppek. During the war, Mildred was an elevator operator for Ford’s Department Store in Bay City. Mildred had been a Nursing Assistant for several years for St. Luke’s Hospital. She enjoyed watching baseball and basketballs games, playing cards and playing Bingo.
Surviving are one daughter and one son, Mary Ann Leppek, Saginaw; Thomas (Nancy) Leppek; Saginaw; a niece, Kathy Niemann, Kalamazoo. Mildred was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, William and Dorothy Niemann; a nephew, William Niemann, Jr.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Paul Hinz will officiate with entombment to follow in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitation of number gathered, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.
