He married Dawn M. Theil on May 14, 1999. She survives him. So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. Condolences to you Dawn and to the entire family.
Although we only spent a short time socializing as Saginaw neighbors, we did keep up with how you all were doing throughout the years through our mutual friends Cathy and Fred. He was known as "Quarters Mike" to our then 3 year old daughter (who just turned 30). At our Friday night dinners at a local Italian place, he would pull Quarters from behind his ears to supply the kids with money to spend at the candy store that was in the same complex.
We remember Mike as a one-of-a-kind, hardworking and passionate man. He always displayed great enthusiasm and passion for whatever project or plan he poured himself into. Nothing was half way done, he was always "all in"!
You fought a good fight Mike, rest now in peace. Pray for us.
