Mary Catherine Siers,
Saginaw, Michigan.
Loving wife, mother, sister and aunt passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Age 65 years. Daughter of the late Joseph and Anne (Rezac) Faler, Mary was born July 6, 1957 in Ingolstadt, Germany to Ingrid Neuman and Ludwig Duerr. Mary married the love of her life, James J. Siers, on July 28, 1984. He survives her. Mary was a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Mary’s Medical Center (Ascension) for several years. She was a long-life member of St. Dominic Parish – St. Stephen Catholic Church. Mary was a volunteer for Gift of Life Michigan, past President and member of the Serra Club of Saginaw, and volunteered for several other organizations. She enjoyed photography, fishing at their Harrison Cottage, golf, Cornhusker football, an animal lover and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving besides her husband James are one son, Matthew Siers, Saginaw; her siblings, Joseph Faler; her German family, Heidi, Christina, Angelica, Guido, Ludwig and Michael; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Tom and David Faler.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 6, 2023 at St. Dominic Parish – St. Stephen Catholic Church, 2711 Mackinaw, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Jose Maria Cabrera will officiate. Honoring Mrs. Siers wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to please consider memorials to Gift of Life Michigan or St. Dominic Parish.
