Loving aunt passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper Campus. Age 79 years. Daughter of the late Neil and Elsie (Temple) Bridge Sr., Martha was born November 28, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a self -employed custodian for many churches and families. Martha was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading many religious articles, screen writing movies and especially spending time with the family.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews, Mark and Kelly Bridge, Chesterfield Twp., Michigan; Matthew and Vanessa Bridge, Clinton Township, Michigan; Nikki and Rick Herren, Saginaw; Michael and Lisa Bridge, Vero Beach, Florida; James and Tina Bridge, Delaware, Ohio; Kathleen Bridge, Melbourne Beach, Florida; seven great-nieces and nephews, Ryan West, Jack Herren, Lexi and Keegan Bridge, Henry Bridge, Josh and Lindsey Greenstein. Martha was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Bridge and Neil Bridge Jr.
Honoring Martha’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place 12:00 noon, Sunday March 7, 2021 at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Julie Bailey will officiate. A private burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Peace Lutheran Church or the Mustard Seed Shelter.
