Loving son, brother and uncle passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at his home. Age 62 years. The son of Carol (Moriarty) King and the late Wally King, Mark was born on March 15, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan. Mark formerly attended Millet Learning Center. He also belonged to SPRED program at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Mark had an absolute zest for life. There was never a “rainy” day in his life. He loved the holidays, especially Christmas and of course his birthday. Mark’s greatest love was for his family and being around people.


Surviving besides his mother Carol are two brothers and three sisters, Karen and John O’Grady, Saginaw; Jill (Richard Seymour) Seegmiller, Saginaw; Phillip and Helen King, Saginaw; Pamela Ferguson, Kettering, Ohio; Patrick King, St. Charles; a former brother-in-law, Dennis Seegmiller, Saginaw; seven nieces and nephews, Melissa Baumann, Sean King (Christina) O’Grady, Matthew (Kelly) Seegmiller, Ryann (Dustin) Scott, Jennifer (Scott) Boelter, Dr. Amy King, Travis (Brittany) King; many great-nieces and great-nephews; dear friend, Sr. Elaine Raymond; his godmother, Patricia Jacqmain.


Mark’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Carson, Michelle and Austin Newbauer and Sally “Grandma” Graverette for their devoted friendship and loving care.


Funeral Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to SPRED c/o Mission Sisters of the Holy Spirit.
