Loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 73 years. Daughter of the late Chester and Thelma (Ronan) Tomaszewski, Marcia was born September 13, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Carl A. Cronk Jr. on June 1, 1974. He predeceased her April 20, 2019. Marcia was a past member of St. Josaphat Catholic Church and St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing Rummy, word search puzzles, watching game shows and especially spending time with her family.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters, Maureen Riley, Saginaw; Heather and Brian Hitsman, Saginaw; one granddaughter, Jasmine Riley; two brothers, Kenneth Tomaszewski, Saginaw; Daniel and Pam Tomaszewski, Tennessee; a niece, Jeannie Tomaszewski; three nephews, Chris and Tiffany Tomaszewski, Danny and Amy Tomaszewski, John and Melinda Tomaszewski; and many relatives on the Cronk side of the family. Marcia was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Diane Tomaszewski.
Funeral Service will take place 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. John Johnson will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home, where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from10:30 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
