Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 84 years. The daughter of the late Ervin and Evelyn (Sweeney) Heck, Lou Anne was born June 3, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Joseph Schulte, her loving husband of 65 years, on November 12, 1955. He survives her. Lou Anne was employed as teller at Second National Bank and was the owner and operator of Heck’s Bar. She was a member of St. John Paul II Parish and a past member of the Germania Towne & Country Club.

Surviving besides her husband Joseph are one daughter, one son and their spouses, Mary and Michael Sabias, Saginaw; Michael and Jean Ann Schulte, Fishers, Indiana; six grandchildren, Jason and Rachel Pappas, Katherine and Michael Burke-Pappas, Stephanie and Randy Smith, Mark Schulte, Christine Schulte and Lisa Jezewski; eight great-grandchildren, Emma, Sophie, Isabella, Addison, Alivia, Archamedes, Ana and Mallory.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. John Paul II Parish-St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 469 Shattuck Road. Private entombment will take place in Eastlawn Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may visit at St. Josaphat Church where the family will be present on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitations of number gathered, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John Paul II Parish. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
