Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. Age 70 years. Daughter of the late Tomas and Francisca (Hernandez) Martinez, Leonor was born July 3, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was previously married to Robert Jimenez and David Odom. Leonor was employed in office administration for General Motors and later employed by Comerica Bank. She was a member of Kensington Church in Orion Township, Michigan. Leonor had an enormous faith in God, loved to travel and enjoyed being with her family.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons and one daughter, Robert Jimenez, Saginaw; Marina Jimenez Cantu and her husband Jeremy Cantu, Saginaw; James and Leigh Odom, Flushing; five grandchildren, MiAysia Strong, Rico Jones, Olivia and Xavier Lawler, Andrea Diaz and Athena Jimenez; five great-grandchildren, Lillyana, Isabella, Rowan, Jackson and Knight; two brothers, Robert and Yvonne Martinez, San Antonio, Texas; Arthuro Martinez, Colorado Springs, Colorado; three nieces and one nephew.
Funeral Service will take place 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2021 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Elder James Weston will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. For those that wish to attend the service remotely, please use the following link http://client.tribucast.com/tcid/52753279 beginning at 11:25 a.m. on Monday. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of Service. A Prayer Service will take place 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitations of number gathered, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed.
