Obituary for Kyle W. Spiekerman

Spiekerman, Kyle W.
Thomas Township, Michigan

Our beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle, Kyle W. Spiekerman, passed away unexpectedly in the late afternoon hours of Monday, June 6, 2022 in Ogemaw County, Michigan. Age 63 years. Kyle was born on August 13, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan to his loving mother, Beverly (Boone) Spiekerman, and his late father, Roy W. Spiekerman. He was a 1977 graduate of Carrollton High School. Following high school, Kyle went on to attend and play college baseball at Mott Community College. Kyle proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps; serving on the Silent Drill Team during his time in the service. After being Honorable Discharged, Kyle would marry his loving wife, Sharon L. Hoffman. Over the years Kyle worked for several different automotive fabrication shops; making prototypes before production. After many years of working in Metro-Detroit; Kyle’s retirement plan was to move back north to Saginaw and be with his family. His original plan was to move to the Upper Peninsula, but he settled for the halfway point. Kyle enjoyed spending as much time as possible in the outdoors; whether it be fishing, hunting, going for a walk, or trying to find mushrooms. The outdoors were his happy place. Kyle was also an avid sports fan; loving all different types.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sharon L. Spiekerman; mother, Beverly Spiekerman; two sisters and brother, Vickie Rachow, Kelly (Greg) Morley, and Scott (Sadessa) Spiekerman; fur-baby, Ellie; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pamela (Robert) Hannon, Diane (Ron) Johnson, and Steve (Sue) Hoffman, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Kyle is happily reunited with his father, Roy W. Spiekerman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Leila Hoffman; several aunts and uncles; and niece, Breonna Spiekerman-Graham.
