Kevin Andrew Grzesiak,
Freeland, Michigan

Beloved son, brother and uncle passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Ascension St. Mary’s Medical
Center with his family by his side. Age 36. Son of Randall and Marianne (Sommer) Grzesiak, Kevin was
born May 17, 1986 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 2004 graduate of Freeland High School. Kevin was
employed at Chili’s Restaurant on Bay Road. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, music and dancing and
especially spending time with his family.

Surviving besides his parents, Randall and Marianne, are two brothers and a sister, Brandon (Amber
Wackerle) Grzesiak, Beaverton; Nathan (Claudia) Grzesiak, Sanford; Shannon (Phillip) Grzesiak-Luebbert,
Beaverton; six nieces and nephews and an angel baby on the way, Cole, Deygan, Abigail, Brantley,
Gabriel and Easton; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents,
Gloria (Grzesiak) and Daniel Coe, Helen and Peter Sommer.

Kevin, called “Kevy” by many who loved him, was so very caring and compassionate; always concerned
for others. His vibrant personality was “one of a kind.” His laugh, hugs, sense of humor, and his “spunk”
will always be remembered. He was a very proud uncle. He also loved his dog Hannah Bella deeply. He
befriended many over the years. Kevin will be truly missed.

Honoring Kevin’s wishes cremation has taken place. An intimate gathering will be had by his family to
celebrate Kevin’s life. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the
non profit organization “To Write Love on Her Arms” or a local animal shelter of choice.
