Obituary for Kenneth I. Schram

Kenneth I. Schram,
Saginaw Twp., Michigan.

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother entered eternal life on Monday, March 27, 2023. Age 94 years. Son of the late Irvin and Nora (Sting) Schram, Kenneth was born March 23, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a 1947 graduate of Sebewing High School. In October of 1950 he entered the U.S. Navy. After his discharge in 1954 he met the love of his life, Donna J. Finiol. They were married on August 6, 1955. She survives him. Ken worked in sales. He was the Saginaw Branch Manager of Eureka for 27 years, retiring in 1991. In 1992 he went to work at Millars in Bay City selling appliances until 2008. He was a member of Korean War Veterans Association #251, American Legion Post #439 and Saginaw Field and Stream. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf (had a hole in one), bowling with a 298 game, but most of all he enjoyed his family especially the great-grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife Donna of 67 years: one daughter and two sons, Debi Hahn, Randy and Judy Schram and David Schram; six grandchildren, Melissa and Ryan Grossman, Stacey Hahn, Joshua and Holly Hahn, Jennifer Schram, Zachary and Nicole Schram and Nicholas and Ariana Schram; nine great-grandchildren, Max, Liam, Spencer, Declan, Malcolm, Bobby, Katlyn, Addison and Zoey; three brothers, Jerry and Ruth Schram, Gordon and Elaine Schram and Ron and Becky Schram; many nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Bill Hahn.

Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss, Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Michael Korte will officiate with Military Services conducted by American Legion Post #439 and the U.S. Navy. A private burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
