Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 with her family at her side. Age 83 years. Daughter of the late Emil and Henrietta (Meredith) Krueger, Kathryn was born August 4, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Richard James Kulow on July 16, 1955. He predeceased her April 14, 2012. Kathryn was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was a faithful volunteer at Ascension St. Mary’s Medical Center for 42 years. Kathryn loved musicals and plays, going to the casino and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters and one son, Terri (Dave) Pettyplace, Saginaw; Neil (Melissa) Kulow, Dayton, Ohio; Sandra (Rick) Mossner, Reese; seven grandchildren, Stephen (Katherine) Kaczmarek, Meredith (Justin) Long, Brian Pettyplace, Aubrey (Christopher) Rittmueller, Julie (Justin) Lackmeyer, Zachary (Rebecca) Mossner, Rachael (Troy) Meyer; twelve great-grandchildren, Ethan Kaczmerek, Spencer and Morgan Long, Maddie, Christopher and Avery Rittmueller, Ryleigh and Ryder Lackmeyer, Evangeline and Quinlan Mossner, Charlee and Mya Meyer; several nieces and nephews. Kathryn was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Krueger.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2022 at St. Dominic Parish, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Steven M. Gavit will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty) where the family will be present on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Ascension St. Mary’s Medical Center or St. Dominic Parish.
