Obituary for Judith Lagalo Wilson

Judith Lagalo Wilson, beloved wife, daughter and sister passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the age of 72. The daughter of the late Clement and Marie Wizner Lagalo, Judi was born April 8, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from St. Andrews High School in Saginaw and received her AA and BBA from Northwood University in Midland. Judi was a recipient of the Dewey Stearns Fellowship. Judi married Ronald Alden Wilson on January 25, 1986 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He predeceased her on September 21, 2018. Judi was very active in her church serving as an organist, greeter, Eucharistic Minister and Lector. She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women and President, Vice President, Chairman of the Funeral Ministry. Judi and Ron shared a love of travel both in the United States and across the continents. Their stories of travel were enjoyed by friends and family.


Judi is survived by one brother David Colman (Janet Rousseau) Lagalo, Saginaw; sister-in-law, Sandra Wilson, Marion, MI; brother-in-law, Karl (Linda Sterling) Wilson, Mecosta MI; Richard (Sue) Wilson, Grand Marias, MI; special cousins, Monica (Michael) Grady, Hoover, AL; Anne Theresa Ferguson, Illinois; Julianna(Daniel) Handley, Saginaw, MI; Bridget (Timothy) Lutz, Tawas City MI; Mary Jo (Brian Gehrke) Saginaw, MI; special friends, Terry and Dolores Marlinga, Bunny Moehler, Jackie Wrona, Donna Koenig, Kelly Barker and Mary Kelly. Judi was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Thomas Wilson, sister-in-law, Dorinda Wilson and special Uncle and Aunt, Joseph and Bernadine Tarnosky.


Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Road, Saginaw Michigan. Rev. Fr. Richard Jozwiak will officiate. Private interment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Saginaw. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Saginaw East Side Soup Kitchen or St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N Center Road, Saginaw, Michigan.
