Judith A. Gnatkowski,
Saginaw, Michigan.

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 surrounded by her family. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late Edward and Florence (DeShone) Farmer, Judy was born June 14, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Dale J. Gnatkowski on October 11, 1958. He survives her. Judy was employed as a teacher’s aide for the Carrollton School District for 21 years until her retirement in 1995. She was a member of St. Josaphat Catholic Church and its Altar-Rosary Society. Most of all, Judy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling, fishing, camping and playing games.

Surviving besides her husband Dale are three sons, one daughter and their spouses, Timothy and RaeAnn Gnatkowski, Carrollton; Daniel and Lisa Gnatkowski, Alanson; Lori and Michael Vondette, Hemlock; John Gnatkowski and Janet Day, Saginaw; seven grandchildren, Kaycee (Ryan) Neveau, Cody (Amanda Gaertner) Gnatkowski, Caleb Gnatkowski, Alahna (Ryan) Newvine, Justin (Megan) Vondette, T.J. Vondette and his fiancée, Andrea Arellano, Zachary Gnatkowski and his special friend, Jewel Lantis; three great-grandchildren, Emersyn, Andersyn, Stella and an angel on the way; a brother, Larry and Sharon Farmer, Frankenmuth; several nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Dennis Farmer.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at St John Paul II Parish, St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 3055 Harrison, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. William Rutkowski will officiate. Honoring Judy’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at St. Josaphat Catholic Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. The St. John Paul II Altar-Rosary Society will pray the Rosary at 3:00 p.m. Friday and a Vigil Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
