John James “Jack” Donahue II
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend passed away on June 12, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 27, 1939 to John and Mabel (Geis) Donahue.
He married Judith Blohm on August 24, 1957. Although he was a “North School boy”, he cherished his “South School girl” for 64 years of blissful marriage. They were inseparable-true love, true friendship. Surviving beside his wife are 4 children: Jeff (Shelley) Donahue, John III (Julie) Donahue, Michelle (Steve) Rivera and Melissa (Chris) Epting; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 beloved sister Marilyn Savidge; Susan and Robert Pumford, Kent Blohm and Patti Nelson, Saundra Donahue, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings Betty Dibble, Jeanne Ross and Donald Donahue.
He worked for PPG and was manager and eventual owner of Bushey Glass Co as an estimator for commercial glass. He was certified in architectural drafting. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Fordney Club.
His talents extended far beyond his bowling, hunting, yo-yo championship title, or his brilliant charcoal sketching. His greatest gift was his ability to make people laugh. He had a positive impact on all he met. He saw the beauty in everything and everyone. He had such humility and kindness; such warmth and compassion.
He would not want anyone to shed a tear for him but honor him with love and laughter.
