John “Jack” Walderzak Jr.
Saginaw, Michigan


Beloved father, grandfather and special friend passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022. Age 88 years. Son of the late John and Violet (Tesner) Walderzak Sr., John was born May 13, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was married to Mary Cichowski. Jack was a school teacher, called “Boss”, for the Buena Vista School District for eighteen years and Freeland High School for twelve years. He was a member of the Catholic Faith. Jack enjoyed teaching and building.


Surviving to cherish his memory are one daughter and one son, LeeAnn Walderzak, Saginaw; Chris and Tammy Walderzak, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Antonio and Carlos Ramirez, Cody and Dakoda Walderzak; a special friend Aaron Wajer, Bay City; many nieces, nephews and cousins especially Robert “Bobby” Wesolek. Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck and Pauline Walderzak and his sister, Lorna Smith. A special thanks to the staff at Americans Home, Health and Hospice Care for all the love and care given to Jack and his family.


Funeral Service will take place 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Jason Evans will officiate. Honoring Mr. Walderzak’s wishes cremation will follow with burial of cremains in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home where the family will be present on Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
