Joan Lucille Coggin,
Saginaw Twp., Michigan.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022. Age 87 years. Daughter of the late Wilfred and Florence (Rotter) Adams, Joan was born April 10, 1934 in Hope, Michigan. Joan graduated from Arthur Hill High School and Delta College where she became a Medical Assistant. She was married to Bruce G. Coggin on June 6, 1954 in Saginaw. He survives her. Joan always enjoyed sewing, quilting, painting, reading, but most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Bruce G. Coggin; one son, Brian and Susan Coggin; a daughter, Wendy and Scott Laurenz; three grandchildren, Garret Coggin, Megan Biddle, Adam Smith; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Susan and Jeff Lockman; several nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her brother, John and Jackie Adams.
Funeral Service will take place 11:30 a.m. Monday March 21, 2022 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.(between Shattuck and McCarty). Chaplain David Yelland will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association.
