Obituary for Jill Ann Inman

Beloved and dedicated mother, daughter and sister passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at her home. Age 46 years. The daughter of Carole (Timm) Inman and the late William Inman Sr., Jill was born on May 11, 1975 in Saginaw, Michigan. Jill was a graduate of Nouvel Catholic Central High School. After high school, Jill attended Saginaw Valley State University where the earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Special Education. Jill spent 20 years of her career teaching special needs students in Saginaw City Schools. She loved her students and her everlasting legacy will live on in all of her students. The passion and fierceness she had as an educator she also had as a parent. When not teaching, Jill loved to travel anywhere that was warm. Although the joy and love of teaching surrounded her, her absolute favorite place to be was around family.

Surviving are one son, Donovan Duran, Saginaw; her mother, Carole Inman and her longtime companion, Bill Williams, Zilwaukee; two brothers, William (Mikal) Inman Jr., Saginaw; David (Wendy) Inman, Zilwaukee, her niece and nephews, Emma, Joe and Connor; three very dear friends, Jill, Amy and Krissy. Jill was preceded in death by her daughter, Kaiya’Eleyse.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at St. John Paul II Parish – St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 469 Shattuck Rd. Rev. Fr. William Rutkowski will officiate. Honoring Jill’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Special Olympics or The Millet Learning Center.
