Beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at her home. Age 77 years. The daughter of the late Stanley and Adelphine (Mrozinski) Krawczak, Jeannine was born on November 27, 1945 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Robert Rankin, her loving husband of 56 years, on September 10, 1966. He survives her. Jeannine was the office manager of The Petal Pusher flower shop for 16 years retiring in 2001. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Jeannine was an avid animal lover, enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving besides her husband Bob are three daughters and one son, Jill (Bret) Erskine, Charlevoix; Barbara Jo “B.J.” (Gregory) Symons, St. Charles; Jennifer (David) Backer, Kalamazoo; Robert (Michelle) Rankin II, Somerset, Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren, Justin (Sarah), Ryan, Jessica, Edison, Natalie, Melanie, Kirstie, Andrew, Evan, Megan, Connor, Lauren, Jasmine (Jimmy) and Spencer; two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Tristan and an angel on the way; her siblings, Daniel (Connie) Krawczak, and Barbara (Michael) Gutowski; sister-in-laws, Mary Ellen Krawczak and Carmen Krawczak; many nieces and nephews. Jeannine was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers, Margaret Mary Krawczak, Bud Krawczak, Gale Krawczak, Valerian Krawczak. A special thanks to V.N.A. Hospice especially, Amber, Holly, and Nicole for the love and support they have given our family.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Covenant V.N.A. Hospice or Amazing Grace Animal Rescue.
