James W. Yule,
Saginaw, Michigan.
Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Age 88 years. Son of the late Daniel and Bernice (Lemmer) Yule, James was born July 30, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married his beloved wife, Mary E. Luplow .She predeceased him December 16, 2019. James enjoyed playing poker, a good game of pool, fishing, golfing, walking at Menards, many sports and especially spending time with his family at his cottage at Sage Lake. His favorite saying was” If you don’t use it you will lose it!”
Surviving to cherish his memory are two daughters and one son, Debbi and Dan Chernich, Saginaw; Liz and Tim Gohm, Saginaw; Ross John and Dawn Yule, Kinchelo, Michigan; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and George Bishop; two sisters-in-law ,both named JoAnne Yule ; a brother-in-law, Tom Malenfant; many nieces and nephews and special friends especially, Andrea Vican. James was preceded in death by a son, Christian James Yule; one sister and two brothers; Nancy Malenfant, Laverne “Mick” Yule and Daniel “Pat” Yule.

Honoring Mr. Yule’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2023 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Advanced Hospice.
