Obituary for James M. Tuck

Beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021. Age 53 years. The son of James and Elizabeth (Bidwell) Tuck, Jim was born September 4, 1967 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army from 1985-1988. He married Julie Ann Panko, his loving wife of 25 years, on September 30, 1995. She survives him. Jim was employed at Three Rivers Construction for many years and then at FCx Performance. Jim enjoyed playing golf, participating in Dungeons and Dragons with friends and loved spending time with his family.


Surviving besides his wife Julie are one daughter, Heather Tuck, Saginaw; his parents, James and Elizabeth Tuck, Saginaw; a brother, Chris and Chrystal Tuck, Saginaw; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joyce and John Panko, Saginaw; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Jody Wright, Janet and Dan Diefenbach, Mike and Jackie Huegel, several nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Dennis Wright.


Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate with Military Honors presented by V.F.W. Post #1859. Honoring Jim’s wishes, cremation will follow. For those that wish to attend remotely, the service will be live streamed beginning at 10:55 a.m. Thursday using the following link https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/3197677. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on “Wooo” Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Casual attire requested. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitations of number gathered, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Disabled American Veterans.
