Beloved husband passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 63 years. The son of the late Dennis and Rosemary (McGuire) Goddeyne, Jim was born September 28, 1957 in Bay City, Michigan. He married Pamela Braun, his loving wife of 26 years, on September 10, 1994. She survives him. Jim was employed as a bartender in the Saginaw area for many years. He was then employed at Best Buy for 26 years until his retirement in 2019. Jim enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting, golfing, walks with his dogs and naps with his kitties.
Surviving beside his wife Pam are two brothers and sisters, Joseph Goddeyne, Bay City; Peter Goddeyne, Washington; Nora Clark, Ypsilanti; Molly (Dan) Belanger, Bay City; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Lori Goddeyne, Bay City; Brian and Sandy Braun, Kawkawlin; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and dear friends. Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Goddeyne Jr., Jim’s mother-in-law and father-in-law, JoAnne and James Braun.
Honoring Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Amazing Grace Animal Rescue or the Saginaw County Humane Society.
