Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare- Harrison Campus. Age 71 years. The daughter of the late John and Barbara (Thorsby) Henderson Ingrid was born on June 30, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of Saginaw High School. Ingrid possessed an incredible artistic talent and expressed that through sewing, sculpting and making Santa’s. She worked many years for Attorney Art Peterson as a paralegal and caretaker. Most recently, she was a picture framer at Hobby Lobby.
Surviving are two daughters, Christy (James Bosch) Henderson, Saginaw; Laura (Mat) Balcer, Bay City; 11 grandchildren, Cody (Michelle), Bradley (Christian), Katreena, Mark, Cassandra, Lacey (Conner), Tyler, Logan, Jordan, Nickolas, Devon; 15 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Barbara Rogers, Laura (Gerry) Labaza, Cheryl (Randy) Hill; many nieces and nephews. Ingrid was preceded in death by her brother and one of her best friends, John Henderson.
Honoring Ingrid’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Family and friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
