Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Symphony Tri-Cities. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late Jacob and Amalia (Deitz) Gross, Helen was born on March 8, 1930. She married Angelo Naples on September 3, 1949. He predeceased her on June 15, 2015. Helen was a member of St. Dominic Parish-SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and volunteered countless hours with the funeral luncheon committee. Helen was the true matriarch of her family. Family dinners were very important to her and she will always be remembered for being a great cook and baker. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, flowers and gardening. She had a special place in her heart for all animals.

Surviving are three sons and one daughter, Dr. Thomas Naples, Hemlock; David Naples and Phoebe Williams, Saginaw; Gerald and Lydia Naples, Saginaw; Nancy and Jerry Sefcik, Saginaw; two grandchildren, Anthony (Kate) Naples, Sarah (Dakota) Stapleton; seven great-grandchildren, Angelo, Elliot, Scarlett, Aspen, Joseph, Luke and John Paul and one great-grandchild on the way; many nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her four brothers and four sisters, Catherine Herman, Molly Wanner, Elizabeth Kuelske, Sophie Corbat, Henry, Jacob Jr., Chris and John Gross.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022 St. Dominic Parish - Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 4735 W. Michigan Ave. Rev. Fr. Steven Gavit will officiate with interment in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Dominic Parish.
