So many memories I have of Gerri from over the decades I have known her. She was always ready to travel and go for a new adventure at any time. She loved people and life to the fullest. She never hesitated to try something new. She was fun to be around and shared joy with others. You are missed already, Gerri. Rest in peace, dear Gerri, you have earned your angel wings!

We became acquainted with Gerri when she and JoAnn became our parents neighbors in East Tawas Campground. Our parents think of them as family and we have enjoyed watching their friendship over the years. We know Gerri will be greatly missed by her Campground friends and we will miss seeing her when visiting our parents. We have also watched JoAnn care for Gerri, their camper and campsite, and do everything in her power to keep her healthy and comfortable. I know JoAnn and her family will miss her tremendously, and trust they will receive lots of support from God, friends and family. These two friends were great examples of being true disciples. They gave to others in need and attended mass regularly. We feel confident Gerri has been lifted to Heaven and will be reunited with all that have gone before her as well as those who have yet to arrive. We pray this knowledge will comfort all family and friends who love her.
