Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Gary L. (Klippert) Blaisdell, passed away peacefully with his family by his side in the evening hours of Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his residence in Tittabawassee Township, Michigan; Gary is now welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Age 73 years. Gary was born on February 19, 1948 in Sunnyside, Washington to his biological parents, Edna J. Spicer and Bernard A. Klippert. As a young boy, Gary was adopted and raised by Marlan Blaisdell. He was a 1966 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following high school, Gary worked for his grandfather’s business, Spicer Engineering. He later went to work for Delphi; after 30 years of service as an assembly worker, Gary retired in the early 2000’s. On December 2, 1989 in Saginaw, Michigan Gary married his loving wife, Loreen A. Premo, and she survives him. One of Gary’s greatest passions in life was Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was a longtime member of the H.O.G. Tri-County Michigan Chapter. Gary and his wife took numerous road trips and group rides; but the memories made on their solo trip out west will be cherished forever. Gary also had a great love for race cars; he greatly enjoyed going to the tri-city drag strip and watching NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt was his favorite racer. Gary and his granddaughter, Jackie, shared a special bond; a love for soccer. He enjoyed attending her games as well as watching all professional “FUTBAL” games he could. With his many joys and passions in life, Gary always put God and family first.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Loreen Blaisdell; mother, Edna Blaisdell; children, John (Tim Pirochta) Jackson of Grand Rapids, MI, Ty Scheidler of Freeland, MI, Ginger (David) Bullard of Puyallup, WA, Heather (Stewart II) Dix of Freeland, MI, Brandon Blaisdell of Novi, MI, and Gary Blaisdell of Midland, MI; grandchildren, Jackie (Joe) Lamont, Stewy Dix III, Tristan Scheidler, Mason Dix, Madyn Bullard, and Cale Bullard; brothers, Ronald (Marsha) Blaisdell of Brighton, MI and Brian Blaisdell of Grand Rapids, MI; several sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and several very special friends. Gary is happily reunited with several loving family and friends that preceded him in death.
Private Family Services will be held at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. Saginaw, MI 48603. At the request of Gary and his family, cremation will take place following the private family services. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, www.snowfuneralhome.net
