Beloved father, son, brother and uncle passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Age 32 years. Son of JoAnn (Thompson) Pogoreski and the late Randy Pogoreski, Eric was born April 22, 1988 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 2006 graduate of Nouvel Catholic Central. Eric was a great people person and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed nature, fishing and especially spending time with his family.
Surviving to cherish his memory are two daughters and one son, Zoie, Rylei and Bentley and their mother, Crystal Reinhardt; his mother, JoAnn Pogoreski; his sister, Katie (Jon) Villanueva and their children, Hunter and Joey Talik, Lexi and Tyler Villanueva; a very special uncle, Matt Thompson; and many special friends. Eric was preceded in death by his son, Luke Pogoreski; his father, Randy Pogoreski; his grandparents, Elmer and Grace Thompson and Pete and Jackie Pogoreski.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 12:00 Noon on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. William Rutkowski will officiate. Honoring Eric’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In accordance with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services ordinance, the limitations of number gathered, mask wearing and social distancing will be observed. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family for the children’s education.
