Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Francis and Edith (Jankowiak) Comtois, Dolores was born on December 8, 1931 in Bay City, Michigan. She married Alfred Belill, Jr., her loving husband of 70 years, on June 14, 1951. He predeceased her on November 28, 2021. Dolores was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. In their younger years, Al and Dolores enjoyed camping and traveling. She was a very talented seamstress and had the privilege of sewing many wedding dresses for family members. Dolores enjoyed bowling, puzzles and was a devoted Detroit Red Wings fan.
Surviving are one daughter, Monica and Jeff Morris, Lewiston, Maine; one granddaughter, Adrianna Dawe, Dallas, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Dolores was preceded in death by her son, Michael in 1976.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish- St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Baltha Raj Bandaru will officiate. A private burial will take place in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church where the family will be present on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
