Our beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Deborah R. Moore, passed away in the evening hours of Friday, November 4, 2022 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 71 years. Deborah was born on January 29, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Freemont and Alice (Day) Moore. She was a 1969 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. After over 36 years of service with General Motors, Deborah retired from the Human Resources Department. In her younger years, Deborah greatly enjoyed traveling. She spent an abundance of time exploring the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, weekends spent on Mackinaw Island, and trips to Disney World. Deborah also loved spending summers at her residence in Tawas. With her many joys and interests in life, nothing brought her more happiness than the time she was able to spend with family and friends.
Left to cherish her memories are her brother, Richard P. Moore; nieces and nephew, Paula Robinson; Justin Moore, and Ann Moore; great-nieces and great-nephews, Calyx, Piper, Faith, Henry, Frank, and Hugh; special friend and caretaker, Karrie Sayan; and numerous cousins and friends. Deborah is happily reunited with her parents, Freemont and Alice (Day) Moore; grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, cousins.
At the request of Deborah and her family, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at The Snow Funeral Home at this time. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to “St. Jude Research Children’s Hospital”. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, www.snowfuneralhome.net
