Deanna Lynn “Momma V” Villanueva
Carrollton Twp., Michigan
Beloved mother, na-na, daughter and sister passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper Campus. Age 66 years. The daughter of Darlene (Bolger) Burr and the late Buddy L. Burr, Sr., Deanna was born on June 26, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Jose Villanueva on November 29, 1975. He predeceased her on August 6, 2003. Deanna loved doing crafts and was a talented seamstress sewing countless Halloween costumes and clothing. She also enjoyed making greeting cards and was a scrapbook fanatic. Deanna worked for many local bowling alleys overseeing their bowling leagues. Deanna and Jose bowled for many years on local leagues and went to Las Vegas annually.
Surviving to cherish her memory are four daughters, Jessica (Jose) Garcia, Saginaw; Jaime (Christopher) Otto, Saginaw; Shanna (James Jr.) Rosa, Saginaw; Bobby Villanueva, Saginaw; four step-children, Linda Villanueva, Richard Villanueva, James “David” Villanueva and Alicia Villanueva Gross; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four siblings, Pamela Price, Buddy L. Burr, Jr., James Burr and Sherri Burr; many nieces and nephews; her best friend, Reno Howey. Deanna was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Michael Price.
Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at The Snow Funeral, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Julie Bailey will officiate. Private entombment will take place in Roselawn Mausoleum. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the wishes of the family.
