Beloved husband, son, brother and uncle passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Covenant Medical Center Cooper. Age 65 years. Son of Virginia (Horny) Siler and the late Raymond Siler, Daniel was born December 14, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1975 graduate of Merrill High School. He married Kathleen D. Wood, his loving wife of 34 years, on April 30, 1988. She survives him. Daniel was employed at Universal Engineering in Frankenmuth as a machinist. He was a member of the Catholic Faith. Daniel enjoyed especially fishing with his family and friends.
Surviving besides his wife Kathleen are his mother, Virginia Siler, Merrill; two sisters and two brothers, Darlene and Richard Emery, Belmont; Dennis and Mary Ann Siler, Westby, Wisconsin; Denise Siler McComb and her husband Steve, Coleman; Douglas Siler, Shallotte, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Karin Siler, Ash, North Carolina; many aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews especially Olivia and Ana, who brought special joy to his life. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Siler and his brother, Dean Siler.
Funeral Service will take place 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Fr. James W. Bessert will officiate. Honoring Mr. Siler’s wishes cremation will follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home, where the family will be present on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family.
